Airline Reservation System
Aeronautical Fixed Telecommunication Network software connects all major airports in the world to exchange information on aircraft movements, conditions of airports, weather and other information related to Air Traffic Control. This System provides Comprehensive monitoring, handling and logging of all AFTN traffic. This software helps passengers to look up flights between two points which can be domestic or international. The passengers can find and book tickets for flights through this software. Developed in Java, it is fairly easy to use software having a user-friendly interface. The users can access flight information as per their convenience. The main objective is to reduce the mistakes which creep up in manual systems. It provides good level of security so it takes care of the user’s safety concerns as well. Passengers can access the whole list of all the flights available on different routes with their timings and fare both for economy and business classes. The manual work is thus reduced and the chances of errors are reduced to minimum.

There are a number of small countries for which the uses of dedicated AFTN facilities are either not available or unaffordable. These ATS centers have been receiving and sending AFTN by fax or phone.
The costs associated with using the above method are high because the connection calls are charged at ISD rates. The process also is labour intensive may result in a higher than necessary workload for staff. These countries are ideally suited for which this Internet type of service delivery is more convenient and economical.
DISADVANTAGES OF EXISTING SYSTEM:
In the existing system if any person wants to travel somewhere by flight he should take some basic steps to get ticket like he should go to airport to book the flight ticket, he should speak with Airline help center regarding the availability of flights. It is time consuming process.
In existing system the ATS need fax and other recourses to tell about it the status of the flight and other information related to Air Traffic Control. In order to eliminate the errors of the previous system, a superb application has been developed due to which the user need not to waste his valuable time in booking, the ticket and instead of server is built that takes care of every action thereby reducing the size & effort of all users.
The purpose of the present Airline Reservation system is to allow customer to interact that gives some basic information such as all flights information, availability of accommodation in flights,
ADVANTAGES OF PROPOSED SYSTEM:
The purpose of this document is to provide guidance material for the use of the public Internet technology to support AFTN where required. This Working Paper presents the various issues that need to be addressed before implementing a system that uses the Internet as a delivery mechanism for AFTN. These areas include conducting a safety case analysis that identifies risks and mitigation plans, ensuring that security measures are implemented in order to protect the integrity of the AFTN from external unauthorized users. The use of appropriate logging and audit reporting required ensuring conformity and integrity of the service.
