ABSTRACT:
Research shows that the increase rate of unemployment in our emerging society is due to the fact that most of our graduate has limited access to available job or that they are not prepared for the job. As the world grows technological wise, the internet has become the major tool for easy communication and for information sharing. Employers of labor have found the internet as a vital means of communicating with the public. Most of all the employments and interviews are now electronically based, hence the need to engage our graduate to really understand the employer’s requirements for every job opening and also get them prepared for the job. This project is aimed at developing a web-based central recruitment and consultancy services system for best industrial career job, advices and assistance. It is a platform that bridges the communication gap between the employers and employees. The project career portal that advertises for job, register applicants /job seekers, receive applicant curriculum vitae (CV) and job opening from employers, renders career planning and assistance to users. It uses object –oriented methodology, interview and questionnaire in analyzing designing and understanding the flow of the system.

Existing E-career and consultancy services portal enables the users to have the typical career platforms and features at their disposal. It resolves typical issues of manual examination process and activities into a controlled and closely monitored work flow in the architecture of the application. This multiplatform solution brings in by default, the basic intelligence and immense possibilities for further extension of the application as required by the users. The system makes it friendly to distribute, share and manage job information with higher efficiency and easiness. The objective of these websites My Jobmag.com is to serve as a common meeting ground for jobseekers and employers, both locally and globally, where the candidates find their dream jobs and recruitments find the right candidate to fulfill their needs.
DISADVANTAGES OF EXISTING SYSTEM:
In the existing system, recruitment was done manually and it was all at time consuming work. Maintenance of records in the form of hard copy is difficult. In the manual process, jobseekers can’t able to know vacancies of all companies.
