Toll Plaza Management System
The Toll Plaza Management System is a systematic solution developed using C#.net to streamline the toll collection process at toll plazas. This system provides an efficient and reliable solution for toll collection, reducing the time and effort required for manual collection and helping to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion. Toll Plaza Management system is designed to keep track of the vehicle’s movement, and bill them accordingly with vehicle details and their category. This system is very useful for billing the vehicles in the Toll. Toll Plaza Management system have been of great assistance in lessening the over congestion that has become a part of the metropolitan cities these days. It is one of the uncomplicated ways to manage the great run of traffic. The travelers passing through this mode of transport, carried by their transport that allows them to be aware of the amount paid. The Toll Plaza Management System is designed to cater to the needs of toll plaza operators, authorities, and customers alike. It provides real-time updates on traffic flow, toll collection, and other important data that can be used to optimize toll collection and traffic management. The system is robust, secure, and easily scalable, making it ideal for toll plazas of all sizes. Managing the prices in the Toll has also been done. PROJECT OUTPUT VIDEO:
There are two ways of collecting toll tax being in practice at present. First is the traditional manual method where one person collects the money and issues a receipt. The other one is Smart Card system where the person needs to show the smart card to the system installed at the toll tax depot to open the barrier.

- In the proposed system we develop the Toll Plaza Management System as a systematic solution which is designed to streamline the toll collection process at toll plazas using C#.net programming language. This system is developed by using C#.net as front end and SQL Server as back end respectively. The entire process is changed to systematically to avoid access and storage delay. C#.net is a good user interface for Windows based application. The proposed system is designed to be more efficient than the manual system. It invokes all base tasks that are now carried out manually, such as the forms transactions and reports which is added advantage
- The proposed system will utilize a database management system to store all necessary data, and the user interface will be designed to be user-friendly, easy to navigate, and visually appealing. The system will also have built-in security features to ensure data privacy and system integrity. Overall, the proposed Toll Plaza Management System will provide an efficient and reliable solution for toll collection and management, improving traffic flow and reducing congestion.

In Admin module, Admin will act as an authority. Admin has the rights to change the password for both the entities: Admin and Employees. Admin is the only entity which can able to add the Toll prices. Admin will select the Category of Vehicle and then enter the details of Single trip, Multiple Trip and Monthly Passes. All the prices are updated in Rupees (Rs). Admin can also be able to Edit those details and update the prices accordingly whenever required. For example if the admin wants to update the price, then first the admin will select the vehicle category like car, truck etc. and then modify the prices. This will be reflected in the Employee while they bill it.
In employees module, he/she can login with the unique staff id and password. He/she can view all the online entry details in the particular toll gate. He/she can entry the vehicle details that pass through the toll gate. Employee will bill the particulars with the following details:
- Vehicle Number
- Category of Vehicle
- Trip Type
- Amount in Rs.
Employee has the features of Adding new bill, preview the bill, Clear and add the new bill and Online Payment option
