Traveler Information System
ABSTRACT:
This System providing accurate, real-time traveler information is viewed by many public transportation agencies as a promising strategy for reducing traffic congestion and improving the quality and efficiency of travel for the public the software has been designed with front-end as C# and backend as SQL-Serer. The project Traveler Information System manages and maintains the records of Customers and Agencies. The Agencies have different Buses For different roots. So there charges and records will be maintained accordingly. This software has been made in a user friendly interface, so that normal persons can add, delete the entries of customers and handle all the transactions easily.

Properly delivered information such as system speeds, incidents (such as accidents or stalled vehicles), construction activity, weather conditions, and traveler services (e.g. food and lodging) can be of great value to travelers. In particular, commercial vehicle operators, other business travelers, and emergency response personnel can utilize this information to adjust routes, itineraries, and departure times to minimize travel times and vehicle operating costs
PROPOSED SYSTEM:
The Traveler Information System is a software application which avoids more manual hours that need to spend in record keeping Data about Agencies and customers travel information. Through this the users and the candidates are registered online .their information is stored in the database the admin can easily access the details of the Users, Users easily book their tickets for these agencies.

MODULES DESCSRIPTION:
Name of the module-1: Admin
Description: In this form the Admin will have to enter valid user name , only then the project will proceed further else an error message will be displayed. Admin see the customers and agencies in our system.
Sub modules:
- Branches
- Add New Roots
- View customers
Branches:
In this sub module admin view the branches of our system if he want to add new branches then he can add new braches also.
Add New Roots:
In this sub module admin add new roots to travel services.
View Customers:
In this sub module admin can see how many customers are present in our system and view detailed information of the customers.
Name of the module-2: Customers
Description: In this form the user will have to enter a username and password. If the password is correct, only then the project will proceed further else an error message will be displayed. In this module customer have different sub modules.
This is the main form. It contains following fields:-
Sub modules:
- Booking
- View Agencies
- Cancel Booking
- Send Reports
Booking:
In this sub module customer will book the tickets for his required places and his interested agencies
View Agencies:
In this sub module customer will see the whole agencies are present in our Travel information system.
Cancel Booking:
In this sub module customer will cancel the booked tickets.
Send reports:
In this sub module customer will send reports to agencies.

Description: In this form the Agencies will have to enter a username and password. If the password is correct, only then the project will proceed further else an error message will be displayed. In this module Agecies have different sub modules.

Customer Reports:
In this sub module agencies see the customer’s reports and send reply to them.
Agency Timings:
In this sub module agencies set arrival and departure timings their bus services.
