Biometric Authentication using Eye Tracking and Finger print authentication
The workings of this system is pretty simple, the employees enter in to their working place are subjected to place their thumb or index finger on the finger print scanner and they are asked to press the in or out button present in the finger print scanning machine if an employee places his finger on the finger print scanner and presses the “IN” button will indicate that the arrival of the employee for his duty, the finger print is analyzed and compared by the system, the employees in-time is recorded in the system. Whenever he goes out he is subjected to place his thumb or index finger again on the machine and press the “OUT” button. His fingerprint is analyzed and compared with the sample present in the database and his out-time is recorded.
This data is then passed to the employee attendance management system which is a part of the fingerprint management system from the in and out times in the database the average working hours of an employee is calculated. This calculation involves employees in time, out-time, any breaks, holidays, employee absence etc. are calculated from this attendance system. This system has provisions for generating customized reports also. The reports are present list, absent list, employee time card, and overall attendance of workers. This data is very essential for the HR Management system to prepare weekend as well as month end salary bills.
The same process is done in case of Eye Tracking also..,Here , we are going to compare both the Techniques for their performance.

The existing system is the manual system. The manual system is prone to error. It is time consuming. It is very difficult for a person to produce the report. The large volume of data has to be handled with regard to various transactions and to view that particular information is very tedious. There are chances for changing the scheme report and do malpractice. This system involves many manual entries with the applications to perform the desired task.
- The can’t check his demand daft details, Cheque details if the other person passes a demand draft or Cheque.
- The customer can’t be able to transfer the money without the banking people and impossible to pay the other payment such as Telephone, Electricity Bill.
- If the customer wish to view his account details for the last month, last week. Its very difficult process.
The proposed system is finger print based attendance management system this system effectively tracks the employee movement very effectively than the manual methods. Employees entering into the factory are subjected to place their thumb or index finger on the scanners surface, the scanner records the time at which the fingerprint is placed on it, the employees will do vice versa when they leave the factory too.
By calculating the in time, out time, breaks during working hours the system calculates the working hours of employees. First time entry to the system is to scan the fingerprint and store it in the database whenever the employee places his finger on the
scanner it searches for the fingerprint in the database. If a match is found then the time is recorded. Otherwise the newcomer has to scan and store his fingerprint to get the routine task going.
From this data the attendance is prepared, the reporting system of this tool includes attendance, present and absent lists, time card etc will help the user to achieve his task in an effective manner.
Need For Computerization:
The clients office is semi – computerized in a sense computers are only document printers rather than serious business machines. Moreover for better employee tracking, managing employee movement inside the premises the finger print management system is a reliable one. Preparing time cards and attendance for some 300 employees will not only require a lot of labor but also requires a lot of time to accomplish. So if all the above tasks are computerized the human resource utilization will be better and effective.
The purpose of the project is to implement a real-time. Finger tracker/Eye Tracker with the following capabilities:

- Remote controlling using finger movements

Template-Matching is a well-known method for object detection. In our template matching method, a standard eye pattern is created manually and given an input image, the correlation values with the standard patterns are computed for the eyes. The existence of an eye is determined based on the correlation values. This approach Has the advantage of being simple to implement. However, it may sometimes be Inadequate for eye detection since it cannot effectively deal with variation in scale, pose and shape.
Face detection : Performs scale invariant face detection
Eye detection : Both eyes are detected as a result of this step
Eye feature extraction : Features of eyes are extracted at the end of this step

Fingers are the most important features of the human body. So effective usage of finger as a communication technique in user-to-computer interfaces can find place in various application areas.
